This product does not scoop the way a traditional petroleum-based pomade would scoop. With your index finger in the palm of your hand, breakdown the pomade before spreading all over hands and applying to hair. Small scoops and warm hands do the trick! NOTE: This product may arrive with cracks in the top. This is a result of the high wax content and cooling process but does not affect performance at all or reflect a defective jar.
